From Simple Beginnings to a Thriving Farm

Grace Harbor Farms started when the Lukens family kept dairy goats for their Y2K prep. The Y2K scare passed, but the goats stayed, leading the family to create goat milk soap and body products. 

Over time, they expanded into cheese and bottled goat milk. Today, Grace Harbor Farms is a trusted local name, committed to healthy, ethical, and sustainable food. The Lukens turned their passion for wholesome food into a thriving family business.

A Sister Farm to Grace Harbor: Misty Meadows Organics

In 2022, Grace Harbor Farms partnered with Misty Meadows Organics, a family-run farm offering organic, pasture-raised eggs. Founded in 2005 by Melissa and Mark Moeller, Misty Meadows focused on fresh, healthy eggs with no chemicals or shortcuts. 

When the Moellers decided to step back, David Lukens took over, continuing their legacy within Grace Harbor Farms. This partnership ensures Misty Meadows' mission of sustainable, community-focused farming thrives under Grace Harbor’s values of quality and integrity.

This collaboration strengthens the local food system, reduces environmental impact, and ensures fresh, high-quality food. We believe in sharing knowledge to help other farmers succeed, knowing that when one local farm does well, it benefits the entire community.
